Join us at containR in Inglewood on August 15th, 2026 for an all-ages night of punk music and community care. Toxic Fem, Citizen Rage, Rebel Grrrlz and Far Lane will play 30 minute, high energy sets with Street Cats YYC leading naloxone demonstrations and harm reduction presentations between them. They’ll host a booth offering free naloxone kits, educational resources, and a donation bin for urgently needed items.

This non-profit event celebrates punk culture as resistance and social action, building stronger connections and promoting safer care for vulnerable community members in light of SCS closures in Alberta. All surplus ticket revenue and on-site fundraising will support Street Cats YYC’s Nightreach work.

Doors will open at 1:45, with the first band playing at 2:15.

Raffle tickets are available through buying advance tickets to the show on Eventbrite, or through donating items to the Street Cats wishlist upon arrival.

Street Cats YYC is a grassroots, harm reduction outreach collective providing low-barrier, community-based support to people who use drugs, people living on the street, and people experiencing systemic marginalization.

Street Cats YYC is entirely community-funded, sustaining their work through donations, mutual aid, and self-organized fundraising efforts, including producing and selling merchandise and educational materials, and participating in community events.

Beyond direct outreach, they’re committed to education and advocacy. They work to challenge stigma, address misinformation, and promote more equitable, evidence-based approaches to substance use and housing instability.
